Adele gets ordained for Chatty Man Alan Carr’s big day

SOME celebs like to be the surprise wedding singer but Adele has gone one better by getting herself ordained as a minister to conduct her pals’ weddings.
It was a case of Someone Like, er, Pew, when the chart star married close chum Alan Carr and his new hubby Paul Drayton in her garden in Hollywood.
The Chatty Man star revealed the Hello singer even arranged for Celine Dion to sing for their first dance. Carr, 41, spilled to This Morning: ‘We got married in Adele’s back garden in Los Angeles. She’s known me and Paul for ages and she said she wanted to do everything, so she did everything. She got ordained and married us, and then she did the whole day. She is the kindest, sweetest, most loveliest person I’ve ever met.’
Revealing the down-to-earth Londoner spared no surprise, the comedian added: ‘She flew us to Vegas to see Celine Dion sing, she sang our first dance. It was the best day of my life. She’s the most generous, I can’t thank her enough. It was lovely and I just want to tell everyone.’
Adele’s wedding planner prowess means the 29-year-old is the latest celeb to enter the marriage business. Sherlock’s Benedict Cumberbatch officiated at the wedding of TV’s Judge Rinder. Gary Barlow is a regular surprise wedding singer, and Katy Perry, Tom Hanks and Taylor Swift have all crashed strangers’ big days.
