Amy Schumer: My life does not go with a swing… it’s often a Trainwreck

AMY SCHUMER’s real-life escapades are often more colourful than her on-screen antics — after she revealed she once met a drug baron and was invited to go swinging.
The comedian, who stars in new movie Snatched with Goldie Hawn — about a mum and daughter kidnapped in Ecuador — blames herself for the bizarre encounters.
She told Guilty Pleasures: ‘My sister and I have vacationed a lot together. In the Bahamas, we spent a night drinking with a guy we later learned was the biggest drug lord.’ Describing herself as ‘strangely naïve’, the Trainwreck star also got her wires crossed when she was invited to swing.
‘Around 20 years ago, a woman came to me in a New York record store and was like, “You’re really cute”. She told me she and her boyfriend swing. I thought she meant swing dancing… I even gave her my number,’ she said.
Moving on to romance, Amy, who recently left boyfriend Ben Hanisch, says Hawn, 71, — who has partnered Kurt Russell for 30 years -is the one to ask for relationship advice. ‘She’d say you have to want to be together, which can be easier said than done,’ she added.
