Angelina on life without Brad

ANGELINA JOLIE has broken her silence about the breakdown of her marriage to Brad Pitt.
Speaking from Cambodia, where she was premiering her first film since the split, the Hollywood superstar fought back tears as she was asked about the ‘incident’ that precipitated their break-up.
‘I don’t want to say very much about that,’ she told BBC World News, ‘except to say it was a very difficult time and we are a family, we will always be a family and we will get through this time.’
When asked how she was coping, Angelina was keen to stress that ‘many people find themselves in this situation’.
She also noticeably corrected herself when referring to the six children she and Brad share, saying: ‘We’ve all been through a difficult time and my focus is my children — our children — and my focus is finding this way through.’
Speaking about her new status as a single parent, she described a somewhat chaotic-sounding homelife.
‘Right now everybody’s in my room: two hamsters, two dogs, two children at the moment… It’s wonderful,’ she said.
‘Usually I just wake up trying to figure out who’s gonna get the dog out, who is gonna start the pancakes, and did anyone brush their teeth.’
All six kids were there to support their mother at the screening of First They Killed My Father on Saturday at the Angkor Thom temple complex in Siem Reap.
