Becoming 007 would leave Downton Abbey’s Dan Stevens in the pink

BRITISH hunk Dan Stevens says he would be happy to become the next James Bond — just as long as he can still wear his beloved pink suit.
Stevens, who starred in Downton Abbey and Beauty And The Beast, would love to replace current star Daniel Craig, who is leaving after his 2019 farewell.
And he teased fans ‘we will see’ on whether he is in talks with franchise Bond boss Barbara Broccoli.
The 35-year-old actor from Croydon kept his cards close to his chest as he sported a bright pink suit at a launch event for the new series of his sci-fi TV show Legion in Los Angeles.
He said: ‘If it is going and they will have me, then why not? If I am allowed to wear this suit?’
When asked if he would seriously be a contender, Dan chuckled: ‘We will have to see.’
Stevens then played coy, continuing: ‘Do you think they will keep on with it do you think? Will they do more? We will see.
‘All will be revealed in the fullness of time.’
The Hollywood star, who has a James Bond link having narrated audio book Casino Royale, added: ‘I am always game for another audio book!’
