Bradley Cooper’s become a sex symbol… against odds

BRADLEY COOPER says it’s not just women who are sexualised on Hollywood’s casting couch — as he revealed he once lost a role because he ‘wasn’t f***able’.
The American Hustle actor, who stars in and directs new flick A Star Is Born, said it took a while to shake the downfalls of a lack of sex appeal.
‘I’ve always been an underdog,’ said Cooper, 43. ‘I’ve heard it all my career. Early on, I didn’t get a role, because they said I wasn’t “f***able.” In the end, you reserve your attention for the work and not listen to anyone.
‘People I care about, who care about me, told me not to direct A Star Is Born. They said it would be too difficult. Luckily, I didn’t listen,’ he added. The remake, starring Lady Gaga, has generated fresh Oscars buzz for Cooper.
