Catherine Deneuve: I’m sorry I upset sex victims

FILM star Catherine Deneuve has apologised to victims of ‘odious’ sexual abuse after she signed a much-criticised public letter saying men are being unfairly accused.
The actress defended her view that men are becoming victims of ‘media lynching’ but disagreed with comments made in follow-up interviews by other French women who signed.
She said radio host Brigitte Lahaie’s remark that women can ‘orgasm during a rape’ was ‘worse than spitting in the face’ of victims.
Deneuve, 74, stuck by her claim that the current climate threatens sexual freedom.
