Dear Chester… Linkin Park’s open letter to tragic singer Bennington

LINKIN PARK have been left with a ‘void that can never be filled’ following bandmate Chester Bennington’s suicide.
The band have shared an open letter to Bennington, whose body was found at his home last Thursday.
Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave Farrell, Joe Hahn and Rob Bourdon say they are filled with ‘grief and denial’. They paid tribute to the 41-year-old frontman for fearlessly putting his ‘demons’ on display and thanked fans for their support for the band and Bennington’s wife Talinda and his six children.
The group, who have cancelled their upcoming tour dates, said: ‘We know that each of our lives was made better by you. Thank you for that gift. We love you, and miss you so much.’
