Ed Sheeran’s cast-ing about for Q Awards win

ED SHEERAN may have taken a tumble from his bike, but he’s still on track for success — if his three Q Award nods are anything to go by.
The Galway Girl singer will do battle with Liam Gallagher, Stormzy, St Vincent and Lana Del Rey for best solo artists at the ceremony tonight.
The lads Ed, Liam and Stormzy all have three nominations each, with Ed up for best track for Shape Of You and best act in the world today.
Meanwhile, Green Light singer Lorde, punk duo Sleaford Mods and rap phenomenon Kendrick Lamar are all up for two apiece.
Kasabian and Paloma Faith are thought to be attending the event tonight at the Roundhouse in Camden, London, which will be headlined by the Manic Street Preachers and Sleaford Mods.
Meanwhile, Ed has had to call off several high-profile gigs as it turns out his tumble has really taken its toll.
Taking to Instagram today — well, getting a minion to do the typing, to be exact — the ginger crooner revealed he has fractured both his arms.

‘A visit to my doctors confirmed fractures in my right wrist and left elbow that will leave me unable to perform live concerts for the immediate future,’ the chart-topper said.
‘Sadly, this means that the following shows will not be able to go ahead as planned: Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong.’
He added: ‘I’m waiting to see how the healing progresses before we have to decide on shows beyond that. Please stay tuned for more details.
‘PS — Ed isn’t typing this as he has both arms casted/bandaged.’
Sheeran has dates lined up in the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and India before moving on to Australia.
