Eminem’s Kamikaze mission charts a course into music record books

IT’LL be the Winner Takes It All for Eminem if his new album edges Abba and Led Zeppelin out of the British chart history books.
He is on course to break a chart record with a ninth consecutive No.1 LP. The US rapper, real name Marshall Mathers III, shares the current record of eight successive chart-toppers with Led Zeppelin and Abba.
His 13-track album, Kamikaze, looks set to topple the Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again soundtrack off the chart summit this week.
Despite not being available in a physical format, it is 20,000 sales ahead of its nearest rival, report chart officials. Three songs — The Ringer, Lucky You and Greatest — could enter the top ten of the singles chart.
