Five Fast Ones with Fickle Friends singer Natti Shiner

GP CHECKS in with Fickle Friends singer Natti Shiner (pictured above, centre), 28, about Michael Jackson, stalkers and avocados. The Brighton band’s debut album, You Are Someone Else, recently cracked the UK top ten.
Who is your biggest music inspiration?
We’re massive Michael Jackson fans. Bad is one of my all-time favourite records.
If you could collaborate with anyone, who would it be?
Calvin Harris seems like our kind of guy.
Tell us about your worst trip abroad…
I was stalked in Morocco. That was scary. They’re fascinated by blonde hair and blue eyes. I was in Agadir… these two guys in their forties… I couldn’t walk away from them. Everywhere I walked they were somewhere behind me. I walked to a busy place and tried to lose them. Nothing happened, so it was fine.
What will the epitaph on your gravestone read?
She loved avocados (smashed).
You can ban any word in the English dictionary. What would it be?
Moist. It’s a horrid word. I really hate it. It sends shivers up my spine.
