Goops! Gwyneth Paltrow forced to make payout over those eggs

GWYNETH PALTROW is in trouble over those vagina eggs of her again.
The egg-shaped jade and rose quartz stones have caused much controversy because of the dubious health benefits attributed to them by the Shakespeare In Love star’s lifestyle company Goop.
Among other things, it was claimed they could balance hormones, improve bladder control and regulate menstrual cycles.
But these advertised benefits have been branded bogus today and Gwyneth’s company has been ordered to pay $145,000 (£112,000) in civil penalties over the products.
In addition to the penalty, Goop will provide refunds to customers who ask.
A Goop statement said the settlement acknowledges no liability on the company’s part and addresses only advertising, not the products themselves.
The statement said there is honest disagreement between the sides, but Goop wanted to settle the matter quickly and amicably.
