Heavyweight Tyson accused of ‘fat shaming’ TV star Susanna Reid

ITV’S Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid went toe-to-toe with boxer Tyson Fury after accusing him of ‘fat shaming’ her live on air.
The 47-year-old jokingly took the controversial former heavyweight champ to task after he landed a verbal blow while discussing how he got in shape for a comeback.
Fury, 29, said cutting out milk helped him shed 4st. Reid asked: ‘For anyone who wants to lose that much weight, you just reckon black coffee and no carbs?’ Fury, who is 6ft 8in, replied: ‘What kind have you got there?’ When she said ‘white coffee’, he parried: ‘Well change it to a black coffee and you lose them [pounds] – not that you need to!’

Reid mockingly raised her fists and jabbed back: ‘I just got fat shamed by Tyson Fury. I feel bad about my coffee now.’ Co-host Piers Morgan leapt to her defence, saying: ‘Woah! Tyson! And it was going so well.’
But Morgan, 53, had Reid on the ropes when he referred to her love life. Discussing the new series of Love Island, Morgan, 53, asked: ‘Why don’t you do it? Well you love it, you’ll be very popular, you’re single.’ Reid set off the rumour mill when she quipped: ‘How do you know I’m single?’
