Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield forced to apologise for swearing Kenny Goss – twice

HOLLY WILLOUGHBY and Phillip Schofield were forced to issue two apologies within minutes as they conducted an emotional interview with George Michael’s ex today.
Kenny Goss appeared on This Morning to talk about the sudden death of his former lover, and the interview got off to a rocky start when he attempted to compliment Holly and Phil.
‘I remember you guys so well,’ he said. ‘When I looked at the television, I’m, like, “Holy s***, we used to watch you guys all the time,” especially you Phillip,’ he said.
But Phillip quickly smoothed things over, saying: ‘The Phillip that’s now got to say, “Sorry about that!”‘
Unfortunately, this gentle reminder was lost on Goss as he later slipped up again.
‘One of the reasons I had this [Goss Michael] Foundation is very early on, in Morocco, he [Michael] gave me a hardcore lecture about being a lucky b*****d, and I should give everything I could do to give back to the public,’ he said.
This time Holly stepped in to apologise, saying: ‘Sorry again if you might have been offended.’
Most fans seemed to be prepared to forgive grieving Goss, though, with one writing: ‘Laughed at @KennyGoss dropping a swear word on @thismorning at least the interview ended reminding everyone of George’s philanthropy.’
