Hugh goes bear? Paddington cast unite

BRITAIN’S furriest leading man got a bear hug — or was it a bear cuddle? — from the actor who voices his character yesterday.
Ben Whishaw held a toy version of Paddington as the cast gathered for the Paddington 2 premiere in London.
The James Bond star, 37, was on the red carpet alongside Downton Abbey and W1A actor Hugh Bonneville, returning as Mr Brown. He posed with his namesake Hugh Grant — who plays actor Phoenix Buchanan — at the BFI Southbank.

Also turning out were fellow cast members Julie Walters, Johnny English star Ben Miller and comedian and actress Jessica Hynes. After Paddington’s 2014 adventure, the sequel sees the bear from Peru accused of theft when a pop-up book he wants to buy for his aunt Lucy’s 100th birthday goes walkies.
Outgoing Doctor Who star Peter Capaldi and Harry Potter actor Jim Broadbent also lend their voices to characters in the new movie. The film is out on Friday.
