Is lads’ chart jinx about to be Busted?

BUSTED are on the brink of breaking their chart jinx by landing their first-ever No.1 album.
The noughties pop giants have sold about 500 more copies than nearest rivals The Specials.
Former Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown, The Greatest Showman soundtrack and ex-Steps singer Claire Richards make up the rest of the top-five sales figures in the midweek charts show.
Busted’s first two albums peaked at No.2 in 2002 and 2003. Speaking about the success of new LP Half Way There, band member James Bourne, 35, told GP: ‘We make all the decisions and everything rightly or wrongly comes down to us.’
