Kylie Minogue celebrates the big 50 with star-studded bash

KYLIE MINOGUE’S 50th birthday party hit the gold standard as she celebrated in a shimmering dress with a host of stars amid a sea of golden balloons.
The pop star partied the night away at London’s Chiltern Firehouse, spinning around with TV presenters, singers and fellow former Neighbours actors Guy Pearce and her ex- boyfriend Jason Donovan.

The Can’t Get You Out Of My Head singer even found time for a quick sing-song as she joined Rick Astley in entertaining the crowd, which also included the likes of Mel C, Graham Norton, David Walliams, Amanda Holden and Alan Carr, along with designer Patrick Cox and James Blunt.

But one guest at the glitzy bash who really got fans’ tongues wagging was her new boyfriend Paul Solomons, an executive at GQ magazine. They both uploaded a snap on Instagram of themselves embracing, accompanied by the same caption ‘Birthday girl’.

Kylie, who recently released her 14th album, had earlier appeared in an introspective mood on Twitter, uploading photos past and present, including a seemingly nude snap of herself with a spangly guitar. She wrote: ‘And so a new decade begins. How thankful I am for the opportunities life has afforded me. 50….. Let’s go!’

Kylie’s sister Dannii was reportedly absent as she is filming a TV show in Sydney, but a family bash is said to be planned soon in their native Australia.
