LANY’s bar-room bolt goes awry

LANY’S attempts to bolt on a tardy waiter backfired when their snapper left his phone behind.
Recalling the escapade, in New York, singer Paul Klein told Guilty Pleasures: ‘I got a last-minute drink by the train station and realised our train was leaving in six minutes. The bartender hadn’t paid any attention to us the whole night and there was no way we were gonna get ahold of him to pay and catch our train. We had a five-second conversation and decided to bolt out of there.’
But the photographer had to go back and pay when he ‘opened his bag and realised he left his phone at the bar’. LANY’s self-titled debut album is out now.
