Liam Payne: Cheryl has left me feeling fragile

LIAM PAYNE has admitted he’s been feeling ‘a bit fragile’ since the break-up of his relationship with fellow pop star Cheryl.
The couple, who have a one-year-old son, Bear, together, publicly parted ways in July.
But despite having been linked romantically to at least two young models — Maya Henry, 18, and Cairo Dwek, 20 — in recent weeks, the former One Direction star told the Official Vodafone Big Top 40: ‘I’m feeling OK. I’m a bit fragile at times. No, I’m alright you know. It’s been OK.
‘Obviously there’s a lot of stuff I’ve still got to sort out with my life…’
The 24-year-old said announcing the split was ‘like breaking up twice’.
‘We already did this once and now I’m having to go through all of that again,’ he said.
‘It’s difficult. People need to remember that behind all those statements there are actually people who are going through the same sort of stuff that you go through, whether they’re famous, rich or whatever they are.’
The comments come as he released an EP with four tracks, which, if autobiographical, suggest it was Cheryl who did the dumping.

In Depend On It, he croons mournfully: ‘How’d we get to lying, crying, always fighting like our lives depend on it?’
He also pleads: ‘Give it one last go. I need us to try,’ and asks why she’s looking at him with ‘angry eyes’.
In another track, Slow, he asks for ‘one more night’ even though ‘your mind’s already made up’, and the song’s main refrain asks for him to be ‘let down slow’.
Of course, Liam could be singing about entirely fictional romances, but both tracks sound heartfelt and worlds away from his more recent, hip hop sound.
They also strike a very different note from Liam’s spirited comments about sex, which were widely reported yesterday.
In an interview with Total Access, he said: ‘I like sex, so what better way than to musically express myself as a young man growing up. I’m into it. I like it. It’s good.’
