Loudmouth Liam Gallagher turns GQ Awards into fight night

LIAM GALLAGHER turned the GQ Men of the Year Awards into fight night before he had arrived at the star-studded bash.
The singer, 44, ripped into DJ Calvin Harris, dubbing him ‘the most boring f***ing person’ in a rant before the ceremony.

And the ex-Oasis frontman later told Metro he would roll with it if Harris, 33, or any other nemesis wanted a ruck. ‘You can say what you want about me and I can get over it. If people want to take it further, let’s do it.

‘Some of them do (take it further) and I just say, “F***ing grow a pair, mate. It’s all a laugh”,’ he said. The star then ranted: ‘A rock star doesn’t get carried away with all the razzmataz. We’re not curing cancer, we’re just here doing a gig.’

Gallagher, winner of the Rock’n’Roll Star prize at last night’s Tate Modern ceremony, sparked the spat after telling Huck magazine DJs like Harris were not stars but ‘accountants’.

Meanwhile, grime star Stormzy’s love-in with Jeremy Corbyn continued following their Glastonbury bonding session, as the Labour leader handed him the Copper Dog Whisky Solo Artist gong.
Also at the bash was Jeremy Clarkson with girlfriend Lisa Hogan, singer Courtney Love and actor Jared Leto.

TV hunks War & Peace star James Norton and The Fall’s Jamie Dornan were also on hand as Norton bagged the breakthrough of the year prize.
They were joined by Hollywood and football royalty when Star Wars legend Mark Hamill scooped the Icon prize while Brazilian legend Pele bagged the Inspiration prize.

Boxing champ Joshua scooped his sportsman trophy from Elba following his victory at Wembley over Wladimir Klitschko in April.

Australian singer Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds were handed the band prize from US rocker Courtney Love while former 1D star Zayn Malik was dubbed Hugo Boss’ most stylish man but didn’t show up.
The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan also kept things political when he landed the politician of the year gong off Tinie Tempah.
