Louis Walsh channels his inner elf in Christmas ‘appeal’

THE man himself may be more reminiscent of a cheeky leprechaun, but former X Factor star Louis Walsh is in fact fronting a new Christmas campaign for elves.
Toy brand Elves Behavin’ Badly wants parents to set up funny elf scenes for their children to wake up to, and Irish music mogul Louis is helping their ‘elf help appeal’ by urging families to take in one of the mischievous sprites this Christmas.
The idea is that you then photograph them getting up to no good, share the pic and — here’s the good bit — potentially win a lucrative prize.
Appearing in the tongue-in-cheek ad that launched today, Louis styles himself an ‘Elf Help’ ambassador and somehow manages to keep a straight face while describing the antics of Elfie and Elvie, who were ‘thrown out of their homes for joyriding reindeer’.
Speaking about the campaign, Louis said: ‘Last year Elves Behavin’ Badly caused a viral sensation but this year they’re set to top the Christmas toy charts.
‘The naughty elves have become social media stars in their own right, taking over the nation’s Instagram and Facebook feeds as parents get ever more creative and ingenious with the set ups.
‘I can’t wait to see what people get up to with their elves in the run up to Christmas.’
Families can share pictures of their badly behaved elves using the hashtag #ElvesBehavinBadly, with the competition kicking off on November 12 for five weeks and £500 of Amazon gift vouchers to be won.
For your chance to win, upload your snap to social media with the hashtag #elvesbehavinbadly and tagging @ElvesBB on Twitter and @elvesbehavinbadly on Instagram or Facebook
