Men should talk more, says Rob

COMIC Rob Beckett says mental health is no laughing matter as he urged men to open up about their feelings.
Rob told GP TV one of his best friends took his own life. ‘Male suicide… no one talks about it,’ he said.
‘Men don’t talk as much as women, “All right mate, get on with it, have another pint”.’ Mental health is among the issues tackled in tonight’s telethon, and Essex lad Rob, nicknamed ‘mouth of the south’, has fond memories of his own fundraising endeavours.
‘I covered my mate’s bedroom in tinfoil to raise money,’ the 31-year-old giggled.
‘I’d love to say charity was at the heart of it but winding up my mate was!’
