Mum-to-be Christine Lampard: I don’t care about putting on weight

WHILE some expectant mums sign up for yoga classes or hit the gym, others — like Christine Lampard — take a more laidback approach and embrace the weight gain.
The Loose Women host, who revealed earlier this year that she is expecting her first baby at 39 with ex-footballer hubby Frank, has shared that since finding out the good news she has quit the gym and is focusing on the baby’s wellbeing.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Christine said: ‘I couldn’t care less about putting on weight as long as everything’s OK inside.
‘I’m not training, just walking the dog. That’s it. I’m just taking it all in my stride.
‘I’m feeling great. I’m eating a lot of ice cream — but I think that’s more to do with the weather than the pregnancy cravings.’
Appearing on Lorraine today, Christine looked lovely — and still very trim — at six months pregnant in a flowing lilac number.
She and ex-England international Frank revealed their happy news in an Instagram post in May, with Frank writing: ‘We have some exciting news we wanted to share with you. The Lampard family is growing!
‘My gorgeous wife @christinelampard is pregnant and we all couldn’t be happier!!’
