No time to lament my Rolex robbery as ‘show must go on’, says Michael McIntyre

MUGGED comedian Michael McIntyre has reassured fans that there will be no cancellation of his shows — and even managed to joke about having to buy a new watch — just days after being targeted by vicious moped muggers.
The TV funnyman, 42, also made light of having to fix the window in his black Range Rover as he pulled up outside his £5.8million home in leafy Hampstead, north London.
McIntyre became the victim of a terrifying robbery, in which his car window was smashed and his Rolex — reportedly worth £15,000 — was ripped fom his wrist by knife-wielding thugs, as he picked up his young son from school on Monday.

Driving up to his house in the same car — its driver’s side window now repaired — just 48 hours later, however, the comic seemed in good spirits.
Wearing his trademark black glasses, a dark blue pinstripe short-sleeved shirt, with black tracksuit bottoms and black and white Ultraboost Adidas trainers: McIntyre said: ‘I’m feeling better… We’re carrying on.
He added: ‘But I could do with not driving this car at the minute. Anyway, it’s all fixed.’
When asked about his upcoming Dublin show tonight, he said: ‘The show must go on.’
And joking about his lack of a timepiece following the robbery, he added: ‘I’m not sure if I’m going to arrive there on time, but I’m going to get a new watch later.’
