Now Robbie Williams does have regrets over America

ROBBIE WILLIAMS is finally aiming to crack the States after 16 years of staying under the radar.
The No Regrets singer, who grabbed world attention by giving viewers the finger during last week’s World Cup opening ceremony, explained that in 2002 ‘there was this intense spotlight I couldn’t cope with’.
Although he knew he’d be famous ‘in the whole of the world’ if he promoted his music in the US, he decided against it ‘for my sanity’. But now, Robbie, 44, told Radio 2’s Steve Wright, his ego is telling him this was ‘a hideous mistake, let’s rectify that’.
He added: ‘I don’t know how I’m going to do it, but I’m going to try.’
