Paris Jackson defends topless shot

PARIS JACKSON has taken to her Instagram account to deliver a long-winded rant about nudism.
Last week, the daughter of Michael Jackson caused controversy among some followers by posting a naked picture of herself with only ladybird emojis protecting her modesty.
Now Paris has responded by posting another naked shot, this time a monochrome side profile snap, and declared that she won’t be covering up for anyone.
Next to the image, she wrote: ‘I’ll say it again for those questioning what I stand for and how I express myself. Nudity started as a movement for “going back to nature”, “expressing freedom”, “being healthier” and was even called a philosophy. Being naked is part of what makes us human.’
She also revealed that she prefers to do her gardening absolutely starkers.
While this might sound risky if the lawnmower is out, Paris explained it’s all to do with something called ‘earthing’ and feeling ‘more connected to mama gaia’.
‘There’s different ways of absorbing Mother Earth’s energy,’ she wrote. ‘My favorites are earthing, which is absorbing the earth’s vibrations from contact between the soil and your bare feet, as well as letting your naked skin absorb the rays of the Sun.’
Paris insisted that being naked was ‘actually a beautiful thing and you don’t have to make it sexual the way many Hollywood stars (and the media) do’.
She also urged followers to embrace their ‘flaws’, saying: ‘You should express yourself however you feel comfortable.’
But she did have some advice for anyone offended by her nakedness.
‘If this makes some of you upset,’ she wrote, ‘I completely understand and I encourage you to maybe no longer follow me, but I cannot apologise for this in any way.’
