Piers Morgan gets icy response from Frozen’s Idina Menzel

PIERS MORGAN got what he deserved when he attempted to outdo Frozen’s leading lady.
Interviewing Idina Menzel on Good Morning Britain, Piers first managed to mock-insult his guest, saying that he ‘only borderline hated’ her for creating earworm Let It Go.
Later, as she complained that her seven-year-old son hates the tune, Piers decided to offer her some rather predictable advice, bursting into his own high-pitched rendition of the song.
But, quick-witted Idina — who spent time in the UK when she was starring in musical Wicked — was obviously well aware of Piers’ reputation for online spats, so she calmly said: ‘I think that’s a good theme song for you in some of these arguments you’ve had.’
Piers, however, didn’t notice the shade she was throwing, saying: ‘Wow, you didn’t even flinch when I did that.’
‘No, but the rest of us did,’ interjected his long-suffering co-host Susanna Reid.
Undeterred, Piers continued: ‘The whole studio went quiet here with horror and you just went, “You know what, it’s not bad.”
But Idina couldn’t, ahem, let that one go, damning his efforts with some very faint praise.
‘You’re not tone deaf,’ she said.
