P!nk special: What About Us? Yes, we argue… but we’re happy

HONESTY is always the best policy, insists P!nk — especially when it comes to delivering cold, hard truths on married life.
In an exclusive interview with Guilty Pleasures, the US singer revealed she has been criticised for speaking so frankly about her relationship with husband Carey Hart.
‘I had a woman come up to me and try to make me feel bad about something I said about my marriage,’ she said.
‘I was talking about how it’s f***ing hard,’ she explains. ‘Sometimes, I love that person more than anything. Other times, I’m like, “I don’t like anything about you,” and sometimes you don’t have sex for a long time.
‘The woman said, “You don’t have sex with your husband? Your relationship must be awful.” I got a little defensive’. The Family Portrait singer says she is just being ‘painfully honest about the human experience’ and is ‘proud’ to be an open book.
‘It’s the truth. Other people are going through it and it’s okay,’ she continues. ‘If you come back from it — and we’re testament to that — then I’m proud, I’m not ashamed.’
P!nk, real name Alecia Beth Moore, knows just how tyre-some other halves can be… bringing up the time she slashed Carey’s motorcycle tyres.
‘I sliced my hand open and got 13 stitches. He’s an a**hole sometimes,’ she laughs. ‘It was a long time ago — Thanksgiving 2005. I was very passionate that day.’
But the 38-year-old superstar — who shares daughter Willow, six, and 11-month-old son Jameson with Carey, 42 — insists they’re back on track.
‘We [like to] go for motorcycle rides, but most of the time we just want to be with our kids,’ she gushes.
Last night, P!nk raised the roof by performing during The X Factor live final.
