Queen toppled as Oasis Live Forever with Britain’s greatest song

OASIS have been given a pat on the back for writing the greatest British song of all time.
If brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher weren’t locked in an ugly feud, they’d probably crack open a bottle of Champagne Supernova.
Their 1994 track Live Forever knocked Bohemian Rhapsody off the top spot in Radio X’s annual Best of British poll. Queen’s anthem dropped to No.2, while Oasis also scooped No.3 with Don’t Look Back in Anger. I Am The Resurrection by The Stone Roses was No.4, and The Verve’s Bitter Sweet Symphony came fifth.
