Return Of The Jedi on public transport as Star Wars heroine Daisy Ridley keeps her feet on the ground

SHE travels at light speed on the big screen but Star Wars heroine Daisy Ridley has a more down-to-earth mode of transport on evenings out with boyfriend Tom Bateman — the night bus.
The 26-year-old, who will reprise her role as Rey in the forthcoming Star Wars: Episode IX movie, and Tom were on their way home after a party.

She and 29-year-old Bateman had been at the Everyman Cinema in Muswell Hill with other actors and crew for a catch-up ahead of the start of filming of the new movie, directed by JJ Abrams.
The Londoner, who has an estimated £5million fortune, larked around with her man as they waited for a late-night ride home on public transport.

They kissed and joked while waiting for the No.43, a 24-hour bus serving north London.
The finale of the third trilogy will be released in December 2019. It has Mark Hamill back as Luke Skywalker and features footage of the late Princess Leia actress Carrie Fisher, who died in 2016 after a medical emergency on a flight from London to LA.

Ridley and Bateman fell in love two years ago while filming Murder On The Orient Express. Bateman has a role in the new TV adaptation of Vanity Fair.
