Rita Ora: I wasn’t far far away from Star Wars role

THE Force wasn’t strong enough for Rita Ora when she messed up her audition for a Star Wars movie.
The pop babe and budding actress admits she botched an opportunity to send her film career into the stratosphere. ‘I just remember it not going well at all,’ sighed Rita, who didn’t specify which title in the sci-fi franchise she had tried out for.
‘I got nervous, forgot my words, nothing came out of my mouth. I just stood there in silence. I’ve had a few s****y auditions.’ Don’t worry, Rita, you just can’t win them Maul… However, the experience hasn’t put off the 27-year-old, who has compiled an ambitious wish-list of film-makers she dreams of working with.
‘I love Christopher Nolan, he’s incredible, Ridley Scott is obviously amazing… I like manly movies,’ Rita explained.
It might even be worth putting Moneypenny on her becoming a Bond girl one day. ‘I would love to do it!’ she gushed.
Maybe she could record the theme song, too? ‘Two birds with one stone,’ she laughed. ‘Imagine that, that would be fabulous.’
So far Rita has showed off her acting skills in acclaimed boxing flick Southpaw and as sexpot Christian Grey’s sister Mia in the first two Fifty Shades films.
Yesterday, she confirmed her next single will be a collaboration with Liam Payne — which will appear on the soundtrack for the final bonkbuster, Fifty Shades Freed.
Rita posted a picture of herself with Liam alongside a caption of the movie’s title.
