Rita Ora’s yell-owing at critics who can’t handle her truth

RITA ORA was feeling anything but mellow in yellow as she again hit out at criticism of new single Girls.
The singer, 27, who admits she has dated boys and girls, has been labelled ‘tone deaf’ by one detractor — who is offended by the track’s lyrics.
In the song, Rita references drunkenly kissing other women, and she told Billboard magazine: ‘I wanted to put it out there because it was my truth.’
Rita, who debuted her spiky pink and orange hairdo at a New York gala this week, added: ‘There are so many kids out there afraid to share their sexuality. I did it for them. This song is about liberation, freedom, empowerment and celebrating who you are.’
