Robin Williams ‘flashed, humped and grabbed’ me

A CO-STAR of Robin Williams has claimed that the late comedian would ‘grab your t**s and then run away’ when they worked together.
Pam Dawber — who starred opposite Williams’ exuberant extra-terrestrial on the late-1970s/early-1980s sitcom Mork And Mindy — also said he ‘probably did it to a lot of people’, but added that she ‘never took offence’ and that filming the show with Williams was ‘so much fun’.
The revelations came out when Dawber spoke to author David Itzkoff, who is writing a biography of the Good Morning Vietnam star’s life and career.

In quotes obtained by the Daily Mail, Pam said: ‘I had the grossest things done to me by him. And I never took offence.
‘I mean I was flashed, humped, bumped, grabbed. I think he probably did it to a lot of people … but it was so much fun.
‘Somehow he had that magic. If you put it on paper you would be appalled. But somehow he had this guileless little thing that he would do — those sparkly eyes.
‘He’d look at you, really playful, like a puppy, all of a sudden. And then he’d grab your tits and then run away. And somehow he could get away with it. It was the Seventies, after all.’

The show’s producer Howard Storm appeared to confirm Dawber’s claims, telling Itzkoff: ‘He’d be doing a paragraph and in the middle of it he would just turn and grab her ass. Or grab a breast. And we’d start again.
‘It was just Robin being Robin, and he thought it would be funny. He could get away with murder.’
After Mork And Mindy, Robin Williams went on to star in kids’ hits Jumanji, Aladdin and Mrs Doubtfire, as well as achieving critical acclaim for roles in more adult fare such as Good Will Hunting, One Hour Photo, Dead Poets Society.
He committed suicide in August 2014 after suffering from a type of dementia.
