Rochelle Humes: Little Mix are my daughter’s favourite girl band

FANS won’t be seeing The Saturdays back on stage — Rochelle Humes says her kids are only interested in Little Mix.
The stand-in This Morning presenter, who has daughters Alaia-Mai, six, and 23-month-old Valentina Raine with JLS hubby Marvin, will be hosting the Global Awards in London next month.
‘If I was to do another round of The Saturdays, my daughter wouldn’t be very happy,’ Rochelle exclusively told Guilty Pleasures. ‘As far as she is concerned only one girl band exists — Little Mix.’
The 29-year-old will be presenting with Capital Radio’s Roman Kemp and Myleene Klass of Classic FM. In another family confession, she explained that, although she often co-hosts with Marvin, she is looking forward to being on her own for Global. ‘It’s actually nice to be co-starring without Marvin… a night out without my hubby,’ she said.
The hosts are already arguing about who is the biggest star, with Rochelle taunting brekky host Kemp.
‘Ronan’s got a really big dressing room,’ she said. ‘I have such a boring rider. I take what I am given.’
Roman, 25, reckons the Global bash, at Hammersmith’s Eventim Apollo on March 7, can be as big as the Brits, pointing out that his station’s Capital Summertime Ball and Jingle Bell Ball pack out Wembley Stadium. ‘Suddenly we’re at Wembley, we’re selling out 90,000,’ he said. ‘So I don’t see why this can’t be the same as that and reach that same level [as the Brits].’
With Blossoms already set to perform, Myleene, 40, said her dream line-up would also include Dolly Parton, Beyoncé and Ariana Grande.
‘I don’t know many shows who will put a classical artist on stage after an indie band and a pop band,’ she added.
