Shaping up for a quiet night as Grammys snub Ed Sheeran

ED SHEERAN’s record-breaking year suffered a setback last night when he missed out on nods for top prizes at the Grammys.
The 26-year-old was tipped to be a shoo-in for the album and song of the year prizes following the success of third album ÷.
Instead, he had to settle for a nomination in lesser category best pop vocal album. His hit Shape Of You is up for best pop solo performance.
Jay-Z received eight nods — giving him a career total of 74.
He is now tied with Stevie Wonder as the third most-nominated artist in Grammys’ history.
