Simon Cowell gets a buzz out of young son Eric’s opinion
SIMON COWELL may have coughed up a rumoured £10million for Robbie Williams and Ayda Field as X-Factor judges, but he admits there is only one opinion he takes notice of — and it costs nothing.
The TV honcho exclusively told GP he relies on his four-year-old son Eric’s verdict after he took his lad to film ‘judge’s houses’ this year. The 58-year-old said: ‘I watch him when we make the show sometimes. If he switches off I’m thinking, “Yeah, maybe that is boring”. I’m serious; he’s my barometer now.’
Simon also said Eric understands the golden buzzer, saying the boy was ‘thrilled’ when it was recently used for a contestant on America’s Got Talent.
