Singer Billy Ocean’s anger at Windrush scandal

BILLY OCEAN criticised the government for the Windrush scandal as he received an international achievement gong at the Ivor Novello awards.
The Caribbean Queen singer was born in Trinidad but raised in east London. The 68-year-old said: ‘These people were invited over to the country after the war. Now there’s no more use for them so they are discarding them. They really should be doing better than that.’
