Sting becomes the Hoochie Coochie man

IT WAS more like every sip I take for Sting who stunned fans at a Newcastle boozer when he broke his ‘unwritten rule’ by performing after a daytime drinking session.
Clutching a beer, the 66-year-old Police singer sang at the Hoochie Coochie jazz bar in the city centre on Saturday.
The Geordie did Bill Withers’ Ain’t No Sunshine with old friend Gerry Richardson — after drinking since 11am.
He told fellow drinkers: ‘I suggest you all … film this because this could well be f***ing historic and f***ing hysterical but great value.’
Sting was also at Newcastle’s 1-0 win over Crystal Palace, alongside Jimmy Nail.
