What’s tickling Holly Willoughby?

POOR Holly Willoughby was accused of attention-seeking today as she coughed her way through an interview with last night’s Dancing On Ice winner.
But it turned out it was just her This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield’s idea of a gentle ribbing.
The telly beauty was midway through chatting to skating show winner Jake Quickenden and his dance partner Vanessa Bauer when she experienced the ticklish problem.
When the coughing fit didn’t resolve itself, Phillip Schofield couldn’t resist joking: ‘Stop it now, you’re just pulling focus!’
He added: ‘You attention-seeker, it’s not all about you.’

To which a stuttering Holly replied: ‘Sorry, I’ve got that annoying thing… you know, when you get it and you can’t not cough?’
Then Jake offered that the issue might be his aftershave and Holly flashed back: ‘It might be.’
Trying to speak again, her voice cracked — and then she and Phillip both cracked up.
‘Oh God, this is awful,’ she said.
But viewers didn’t seem to think so, with one commenting on Twitter: ‘This is the most funniest #DancingOnIce interview ever with Holly continually coughing.’

Another quipped that she must be having a ‘May moment’ — referring to the prime minister’s unfortunate coughing fit during last year’s Tory party conference.
Despite the vocal issues, Jake — who beat actress Brooke Vincent and rugby player Max Evans to second and third place respectively in the Dancing On Ice finale — was able to spill the beans about some post-show party antics.
The former X Factor star explained he had been lifted in the air by fellow competitor Kem Cetinay and now he was injured.
‘My knee is massive, so I don’t know what I’ve done there. My back is hurting from doing the Worm!’ he said.
‘Everybody let their hair down… everyone boiled over. It was an amazing experience.’
