Will Ferrell’s life advice

FUNNYMAN Will Ferrell had some pointers for students everywhere as he gave the graduation address at his old alma mater, the University of Southern California, last week.
Flexing his Anchorman skills as he took to the podium to accept his own honorary doctorate, Will explained that he did not take this honour lightly.
‘I’ve already instructed my wife and children that, from this point on, they have to address me as Dr Ferrell,’ he said.
He also joked that this wasn’t the first time he’d given a speech at such a prestigious institution, citing the short-lived Trump University.
But his main piece of advice was: ‘Trust your gut. Keep throwing darts at the dartboard. Don’t listen to the critics and you will figure it out.’
And if all else fails, he suggested picturing his face as he burst into a rendition of Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You.
