Wolverine’s Hugh Jackman: I’d never claw my way into White House

HUGH JACKMAN insists there is one role he’d never be up for — US president.
The Aussie superstar (pictured) confessed to his lack of Washington ambition after it was revealed he will front an Oscar-worthy line-up at next month’s BFI London Film Festival.
The Wolverine star hits the festival’s red carpet on October 14 for his biopic The Front Runner, about senator Gary Hart’s derailed presidential campaign in 1988.
Asked if he fancied the White House himself, Jackman, 49, said: ‘A job where half the planet hates you from day one? No! I have too thin a skin.’
Daniel Kaluuya, Viola Davis, Michelle Rodriguez and Liam Neeson open the festival on October 10 with their crime drama Widows.
