You’re both hired: Lord Sugar chooses two Apprentices

LORD SUGAR must be growing soft — after hiring both candidates in last night’s final of The Apprentice.
For the first time in the show’s 13-year history, two business wannabes were crowned winners.
Sugar, 70, could not decide between recruiter James White and confectionary company owner Sarah Lynn on the BBC reality show. ‘I was torn,’ he said.
‘The only fair thing to do was to choose them both — thing is, it’s now going to cost me half a million pounds. They were two genuinely great experts in their field and I’m looking forward to going into business with them.’
James, 26, and Sarah, 35, will each receive £250,000 for their business plans.
‘I have always, since I was a young boy, looked up to Lord Sugar as a businessman,’ said James, from Birmingham, ‘It’s just very, very humbling.’
‘It feels incredible,’ added Londoner Sarah. ‘The future is definitely sweet, and it’s going to be a great adventure.’
